Tirupati: The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration Dr Manmohan Singh has directed all the Joint Collectors in the State to complete the process of digitisation of land records by the end of December 2019.

Addressing them through a video-conference from Tirupati Sub-Collector's Office on Monday, he said that the Central government accorded its approval and allocated funds for AP only in the entire country.

He said that 11,158 village surveyors will join duties on October 2 as Village Secretariat system will be coming into effect from that day.

The surveyors should be given residential training for 30 days at various places in the district from October 3 which has to be monitored by RDOs, Sub-Collectors and Special Deputy Collectors. They should be trained on Auto Cad and Electronic Records also.

CCLA added that campaigning has to be taken up so that every farmer should know the time of survey of their lands and they have to voluntarily enrol their land details.

The list of eligible beneficiaries for getting house sites has to be kept ready by September 30 and the details should submitted to the Chief Minister during his video-conference on that day.

For giving house site pattas, 30,000 acres are required in rural areas and 4,200 acres in urban areas as per primary estimates and Collectors have to certify the lands as eligible for residences. If needed, land has to be taken from APIIC and NEDCAP, he said.

He also made it clear that the representations received during Spandana programme should be resolved without delay. In Tirupati, Joint Collector D Markandeyulu, Sub-Collector V Kanaka Narasa Reddy and other JCs from their respective districts have participated in the video-conference.
