Tirupati: Virinchi-2020 Techno Festival commences at SPMVV

Tirupati: `Virinchi-2020' a two-day technocrat festival being organised by School of Engineering, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV), started on a colourful note here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, SPMVV Vice-Chancellor and Virinchi President Prof D Jamuna said this kind of programmes will help the students to bring out their talents and to develop competitive spirit. Speaking on different quotients like IQ, EQ, HQ, she emphasised on HQ as it not only has Health Quotient but also includes Happiness Quotient and observed that everyone needs to develop HQ.

IISER Director Prof KN Ganesh who was the chief guest, enlightened the audience with his eloquent speech on Emerging Technologies and advised them to strive hard to achieve their goals.

Guest of Honour and Director of SOET Prof A Ramakrishna Rao, advised the students to develop competitive spirit by participating in various programmes of creativity. Faculty convener and co-convener P Srivyshnavi CSE and P. Parvathi Devi respectively have given brief report on the events during Virinchi 2020.

The cultural programmes by the students enthralled the participants.
