TTD plans video documentary to promote Srivani Trust
Singhal gave a call to philanthropists to contribute liberally to Srivani Trust for spreading Sri Venkateswara Bhakti by constructing more temples.
Tirupati: To make the philanthropists know more about the importance of newly formed Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana (Srivani) Trust, the TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal sought the officials concerned to prepare a video documentary on the need for promoting temples construction and upload it on the TTD website.
Singhal gave a call to philanthropists to contribute liberally to Srivani Trust for spreading Sri Venkateswara Bhakti by constructing more temples. A review meeting on IT was held in the chambers of TTD EO at Administrative Building here on Thursday.
The EO directed the officials concerned to prepare a 2-3 minute video documentary in an appealing manner to attract more donations for the trust floated by TTD in May this year taking the number of trusts set up by TTD to ten for taking of various social service activities in a big way. He also wanted the IT officials to get ready for Srivari Seva next-gen application by this September and enable more number of devotees to take part in the seva (service) from across the country through online.
Anil said already the volunteers are booking through online for rendering service in Annaprasadam, Kalyanakatta (tonsure centres), vigilance, health and reception in Tirumala.
The EO also said the user departments should be trained in next-gen application when once it is prepared. The EO instructed the concerned to make Govinda App pilgrim-friendly and ensure hassle-free mechanism while booking arjitha seva tickets on mobile.
Singhal also said that the applications created for the sale of gold dollars, properties and infrastructure should be verified at regular intervals. He directed the officials concerned to see that there was no delay in issuing time slot for Sarva darshan tokens to pilgrims in the counters set up in various places in Tirupati and Tirumala. JEO B Lakshmikantham, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, Chief Engineer Chandrasekhar Reddy, FACAO Balaji and IT Chief Sesha Reddy were present.
