Two held, 22 bikes recovered
Police arrested two accused involved in the motor vehicles theft cases and recovered 22 motor bikes from their possession on Sunday.
Guntur: Police arrested two accused involved in the motor vehicles theft cases and recovered 22 motor bikes from their possession on Sunday. According to Guntur South DSP Bhanodaya, K Satyanarayana had filed a complaint stating that he lost his two-wheeler at Nallapadu Police Station.
Based on the complaint, Nallapadu police took accused Parimisetty Lakshman and Challa Anji Babu into custody. During questioning, they confessed to the crime.
They lifted ten two-wheelers in Nallapadu Police Station limits, three two-wheelers in AL Pet limits, one each in Pattabhipuram, Kothapet, Lalapet and Old Guntur Police station limits. Both accused were addicted to bad habits and luxurious life. To meet their expenses, they are lifting two-wheelers and selling spare parts of the vehicles.
