Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be flying to Delhi today to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The chief minister would be inviting Modi for the launch of Raithu Bharosa Scheme to be held on 15th of this month. Issues related to the Center and state, implementation of separation grants to state and Polavaram funds will be addressed in the meeting.

However, Telangana CM KCR met Modi yesterday and Jagan's meeting with Modi today has caused the political debate. Political analysts say all this is happening strategically. It seems, the central government wants to have good relations with states, and in turn, the chief ministers also wants to be in good books of Modi.

Even in August, Jagan toured Delhi. On August 6, Prime Minister Modi along with Home Minister Amit Shah met to discuss state issues. There is currently no money with the AP government. Navratnala schemes cost a lot. The government has been trying to increase revenues, but the results have not been great.
