Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy has lauded the services of Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu to the rural people.

Vijayawada: Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy has lauded the services of Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu to the rural people. He distributed the Pratibha Puraskarams to 184 meritorious students, who achieved 10/10 GPA points in the SSC public examinations at Swarna Bharat Trust at Atkuru village near Gannavaram on Sunday.

Swarna Bharat Trust and Muppavarapu Foundation are jointly distributing the cash of award of Rs 3,000 and merit certificate to each student on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said the Vice-President is always stood first in the social service activities particularly in the rural areas.

He praised the services of Swarna Bharati Trust and congratulated the Managing Trustee Deepa Venkat. He said the Union government was developing infrastructure facilities in the rural areas by laying roads and providing all other amenities. Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and others participated in the event.

Kishan Reddy offers prayers to Goddess Durga

Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy on Sunday visited the Kanaka Durga temple atop Indrakeeladri hills and offered special prayers. The temple priests and officials have welcomed the Union Minister and presented the portrait of the Goddess Kanaka Durga and Prasadam on the occasion.

Later, interacting with the media, Kishan Reddy said he was delighted to visit the Durga temple and added he prayed for the wellbeing of all and development of two Telugu states. He said the NDA government would strengthen the NIA and would bring the human trafficking under the purview of it. He said a bill will be introduced in the Parliament to strengthen the NIA and to take up its activities in other countries also.
