Rajya Sabha member of the YSR Congress party Vijayasai Reddy said that the TDP has become an NRI party.

Rajya Sabha member of the YSR Congress party Vijayasai Reddy said that the TDP has become an NRI party. Speaking to media on Friday while he was on a visit to Visakhapatnam, he said that Chandrababu is staying in Hyderabad and criticizing the government and alleged that Chandrababu prevented Polavaram from completing. Polavaram land acquisition was hampered rather than completed. Chandrababu Naidu could not sleep because of the 150 feet YSR statue placed near Polavaram, Vijayasai asserted.

Speaking about SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh's episode, Vijayasai Reddy said that Nimmagadda is acting as TDP spokesperson. The YSRCP MP recalled that Nimmagadda is the man held talks with TDP leaders in a hotel. He found fault with Nimmagadda Ramesh for not caring about the health of the people and contemplating to hold elections for local bodies.

"TDP cadre believes in Nimmagadda more than Chandrababu. We have a suspicion that Nimmagadda will be made TDP Working President after retirement," sai Reddy opined. He accused that TDP is the only party in the history that has prevented the distribution of house site pattas to the poor.

Vijayasai Reddy also clarified on allegations over Visakhapatnam Airport. He said it is not a government airport but a navy airport, which has difficulties with the landing and take-off. He alleged that the Navy officers are creating problems every now and then. I have nothing to do with any land acquisitions for the airport and said that it be brought to the attention of the police if anyone threatens using his name. "I will discuss all the matters with whoever comes to discussion on Visakhapatnam Airport," Vijayasai asserted. He alleged that the false propaganda is being spread on Visakhapatnam Airport.
