The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) is organising webinar for six days starting from June 22 to encourage the entrepreneurs to take up export business.
Vijayawada: The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) is organising webinar for six days starting from June 22 to encourage the entrepreneurs to take up export business. CV Atchut Rao, president of FAPCCI said in a statement here on Friday that anyone seeking to start export business or import business, merchant exporter, manufacturers, service providers can attend the programme to know how to start an export business.
He said that India has begun work on a continuity plan to kick-start export once the country emerges from the shadows of the Covid-19 pandemic. "The plan includes cutting down import dependence by focusing aggressively on substitution while improving safety compliance and quality goods to gain global market share. As per the analysis of the Union Commerce department, the medical textiles, electronics and toys, plastics, gem and jewellery, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and processed food Items are some of the exports will be promoted," he said.
The president pointed out that many companies in MSME sector started to focus exclusively on exports and keen to export globally. "FAPCCI is conducting web-based sessions to encourage new entrepreneurs into export business by availing export opportunities," he said.
The entrepreneurs would learn more about as to why export business; how to do export business; how to form an export company; opportunities in exports; what licenses are required; what are delivery terms, payment terms; what documents need to be prepared; how to handle payment risk; how much money is required; how to do export marketing; learning about ECGC; what are Government policies; and export incentives and benefits.
The experts and consultants of the Federation of FAPCCI will lead the sessions on all the six days from June 22 to 27 every day from 4pm to 6 pm, he said.
