Vijayawada: Fruit juices, milk shakes distributed to migrant workers

Vijayawada: Amruta Hastam, Railways, ITC and other donors distributed natural fruit juices and milk shakes to migrant workers at the railway station on Monday. The workers were travelling in Shramik special train via Vijayawada railway station.
Amruta Hastam founder D Karunasri said the organisation in association with the ITC and other donors distributed 15,000 natural juice bottles and 15,000 milk shake bottles to 30,000 migrant workers. Railway staff and representatives of Amruta Hastam and donors participated in the activity.
She thanked Andhra Pradesh State tax chief commissioner Piyush Kumar and ITC Branch Manager G Rammurthy for extending cooperation. She said Amruta Hastam conducted service activities during the lockdown to migrant workers and other needy.
Lions Club of Vijayawada supreme Maddineni Chakradhar, Amruta Hastam secretary Mahesh and others participated in the juice distribution programme.
