Vijayawada: Gas leakage triggers fire at Indrakiladri

Gas leakage at Pulihora preparation centre at Indrakiladri triggered a fire. However, a major mishap was averted when the officials alerted and turned off the gas. They also carried out repair works at the gas pipeline. No casualties have been reported.

On the other hand, Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy temple has been decked up embarking the first day of Navratri. All the roads leading to the temple were spruced up and arches have been erected welcoming the pilgrims to the Navratri.
