Vijayawada: Dharmo Rakshati Rakshita Trust and All India Bhavani Deeksha Charitable Trust are jointly conducting a Chandi Homam and other religious rituals and spiritual programmes at Punnami Ghat and other places in the city from Thursday.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Sivaswami said the Dharmo Rakshati Rakhita is conducting spiritual programmes for the last 18 years to promote Hindu religion.
He said the Trust is conducting programmes to mark the completion of 40 years of the inauguration of Bhavani Deekshas in Vijayawada. Sivaswami said Haindava Dharma Sankharavam will be organised with one lakh people on March 8 at Punnami Ghat.
Sivaswamy said that representatives of 110 Ashramams would be participating in the event. Similarly, Sathamanam Bhavati will be organised on March 9 at the Punnami Ghat. 'Guru Bhavani' Lanka Ganesh, K Vidyadhar and others were present on the occasion.
