Vijayawada: Workshop on Hydroponics held at Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala

Vijayawada: Students of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala curiously watched Hydroponics wherein water of the aquarium is cleaned by plants.

The college conducted a one-day workshop on Hydroponics for the B Sc Zoology students. Vaishnavee Aquariums proprietor B Vara Kishore explained to the students how plants living in water live absorbing the waste from aquarium water.

He said Hydroponics will conserve water and it can be reused in the aquariums. He said many countries are following this system for cultivation of fish and agriculture produce.
