Vijayawada: Young man dies after falling into lift shaft from fifth floor

A young man died after stepping out of the lift while it was in running state at Vijayawada governorpet. Irfan who works in an apartment on Bandar Road went to the apartment lift and hit the button on Tuesday morning. As soon as the door opened, he thought the lift had reached floor and tried to go inside.

The lift did not reach the floor by the time the Irrfan button was pressed. The young man did not notice that .. stepped forward to enter. When the door opened and the lift did not arrive, the young man fell down and lost his life on the spot. With the information given by the locals, the governor's police have inspected the site and registered a case.

While the lift was on the ground floor, the door opened on the fifth floor. It seems that the accident happened just because the man's negligence. The police are also investigating whether there were any other reasons. CCTV footage is also being investigated.
