Visakhapatnam: Medical student dies in a road accident
A medical student was killed in a road accident at around 2 am on Friday at Maruti Circle under Malkapuram Police Station.
A medical student was killed in a road accident at around 2 am on Friday at Maruti Circle under Malkapuram Police Station. Laveti Santosh (21), a third-year student of Andhra Medical College, Srividya went to Gajuwaka from KGH on a two-wheeler. As they approached Maruti Circle, the two-wheeler fell off. At the same time, a truck crashed over Srividya's head. Sri Divya died on the spot while Santosh, who was riding a two-wheeler, got out of the accident safely.
Mogilipuri Ravikumar Chaudhary of 46th Ward, Srinivasnagar, is working as an Assistant Manager at Pendurthy Andhra Bank. He has two children. Srividya is the eldest daughter who is pursuing MBBS third year at Andhra Medical College. The body was taken to KGH for postmortem. CI PVB Uday Kumar is investigating the case.
