RINL has rolled out Medium Merchant Structural Mill (MMSM) 125X125 mm billets for the first time by modifying its roll stands to meet the increasing market demand
Visakhapatnam: RINL has rolled out Medium Merchant Structural Mill (MMSM) 125X125 mm billets for the first time by modifying its roll stands to meet the increasing market demand.
Earlier, MMSM rolled out billets of maximum size 90X90. Trial operations were carried out successfully for IS:2830 grade, however other grades also can be rolled out depending on the requirement.
CMD of RINL P.K. Rath said on Thursday that it's a momentous occasion for RINL to bring out a new product from its sophisticated mills to suit the market demand.
The CMD congratulated the MMSM team and works division for the achievement. He exhorted them to take up further innovations to meet the market demand based on customers' requirements.
RINL Director (Commercial) D K Mohanty, Director (Operations) A K Saxena and other senior officials participated in the launch.
The new product profile added to the RINL product basket to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets.
RINL produces special steel, including wire rod coils, rounds, billets of different grades and dimensions to meet the demands of Infrastructure, construction and auto industry, etc.
