Visakhapatnam: YSRC leader Koyya Prasad Reddy on Sunday came down heavily on the TDP leaders for resorting to malicious campaign against the YSRCP-led government for exposing their corrupt practices.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, he said the TDP leaders Srinivas Reddy, Prathipati Pulla Rao, P Satyanarayana and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's personal assistant Srinivasa Rao's illegal assets case has a clear indication to this. The hand of former Minister K Atchannaidu in ESI scam was also surfaced but the TDP leaders are trying to hush it up, he stated.

The TDP leaders were alleging that Atchannaidu is being targeted as he belonged to backward class, Prasad Reddy pointed out.

Similarly, TDP leaders J C Diwakar Reddy, K Narayana and Peela Govind's corruption was also coming out in the open for which they were accusing the ruling party of resorting to political vendetta, YSRC leader stated.

"The TDP leaders are also involved in mudslinging campaign that the Indian Navy is not raising objection to the establishment of capital city in Visakhapatnam thereby damaging the brand image of Vizag. When the government is acquiring land to build houses for poor, leaders like Bhandaru Satyanarayana Murthy are creating panic among people and instigating them," Prasad Reddy said.

He said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to link rivers for the welfare of farmers. "New ration cards are also issued to public. But the 'yellow media' is spearheading a malicious campaign that the ration cards are being removed," he reiterated.

Also, he claimed that the contractor involved in the ESI scam was a close associate of former MLC Nara Lokesh.
