Visakhapatnam: Timpany Schools host 'Farmathon'

Visakhapatnam: To mark the silver jubilee celebrations, Timpany Schools hosted 'Farmathon,' a national farmers network on Monday at YMCA.

The programme is aimed to spread environmental awareness and to highlight the importance of sustainable farming, community farming and sharing of resources.

Addressing the gathering, Ken Gnanakan emphasised the importance of children being aware of environmental issues and its impact on nature.

Founder of National Farmathon Atchuta Rao appreciated the schoolchildren for their efforts in sustainable farming methods.

Director of Etasi-Timpany Schools Annie Cherian, children, teachers, farmers and Farmathon representatives were present at the event.
