District Collector V Vinay Chand inaugurated the village secretariat building at Jannavaram village, Chodavaram on Friday
Visakhapatnam: District Collector V Vinay Chand inaugurated the village secretariat building at Jannavaram village, Chodavaram on Friday.
This is the first building set up at Chodavaram. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said government welfare schemes should reach every beneficiary through the secretariat. Further, the District Collector said Dhobhighat and a school will be developed at a cost of Rs 15 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively at Jannavaram village.
Later, he inspected Lakshmipuram Zilla Parishad School and had the midday meal along with other officials. Chodavaram MLA Karanam Dharmasri thanked the District Collector for providing drinking water facility at a cost of Rs 104 crore in Chodavaram constituency.
Meanwhile, a new panchayat building was inaugurated by Anakapalle Member of Parliament B Satyavati at Simhadripuram in Chodavaram mandal. The District Collector and others were present.
