Upset over his mother reprimanding him for playing PUBG video game, a 14-year-old boy committed suicide here at Vishakapatnam on Wednesday.
Lohith Reddy, who was a Class 10 student had addicted to the game and was staying at home to play the game skipping his school. On August 20, Lohith's mother snatched the phone from him and chided for playing the game.
Enraged over it, the boy consumed an insecticide and was admitted to a hospital. He was declared dead on Monday.
Meanwhile, the parents of the boy demanded the government to ban PUBG.
