Pranjal Bhagat, a student of Oakridge International School (OIS), bagged a seat in Indian Institute of Technology-Jodhpur.

Visakhapatnam: Pranjal Bhagat, a student of Oakridge International School (OIS), bagged a seat in Indian Institute of Technology-Jodhpur. Though Pranjal was selected in IIT-Goa, she decided to move to Jodhpur to pursue five-year-long dual degree course in Mechanical stream.

She says that her parents – L M Bhagat, Deputy Director of Agriculture department, Raigarh and Jyoti Bhagat, a homemaker, have been extremely supportive in realising her dream. Chhattisgarh-based Pranjal completed her Class XI and XII in OIS, Visakhapatnam.

Prior to this, she studied in Raigarh. About her preparation, she says that her planned study schedule throughout her Classes XI and XII helped her in cracking IIT entrance examination. "The competition was certainly tough.

I only gave it a shot. However, being in a boarding school and following a strict study schedule helped me stand out amidst stiff competition," she reasons.Pranjal says that she aspires to become an IFS (Indian Foreign Service) officer and is all set to strive hard for her future with determination. Principal of the school Biju Baby and director Nalin Srivastava congratulated Pranjal on her achievement.
