Vizianagaram: Four thatched houses gutted in massive fires

Mentada (Vizianagaram): Four houses are gutted and around one lakh worth of loss is occurred in Iddana Valasa village of Mentada mandal in Vizianagaram district on Thursday. Houses belong to S.Polayya, V.Tammayya, N.Ramudu and D.Ramana are turned into ash with in few minutes after the flames started at one of the four hatched houses. The locals reached and poured water with buckets and controlled the flames from spreading to other houses.any hoe,these four houses are totally damaged and the four families of the daily labour have lost the shelter during chilling winter
