Vizianagaram: Protesting the house arrest of Telugu Desam Party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders against alleged political killings in Palnadu region, the TDP leaders in the district staged a protest and came down heavily on the government for implementing the police law and suppressing the voice of public.

TDP leader IVP Raju and others organised a protest on Wednesday at Roads and Building Centre extending solidarity with 'Chalo Atmakur' organised by the state leadership. They alleged the ruling YSRCP government was stifling the voice of opposition. Terming the administration in state as totally 'undemocratic,' they condemned the house arrest of former MLAs K Appala Naidu, B Chiranjeevulu and MLC D Jagadeeswara Rao in Vijayawada.

The leaders of YSRCP have been threatening the public and TDP leaders across the state, they said."We won't keep mum and will raise our on behalf of public over the problems. The conditions at Atmakur are terrible and the locals are under threat," they said.
