Minister for Housing Cherukuvada Sriranganadha Raju paid glowing tributes to the late litterateur Acharya Divakarla Venkatavadhani by stating that he brought the rich Telugu literature to the common man.

He participated in the meeting organised in connection with the 108th birth anniversary celebrations of the late scholar.
Divakarla Sahiti Sanstha chairman Cherukuvada Appala Ramakrishna Varma presided over the meeting.
The minister recalled that Divakarla Venkatavadhani and Titupati Venkata Kavulu were born in Yandagandi village and continued their relations with the village till they breathed last.
YSR Congress leader PVL Narasimha Raju, retired MEO Danduboyina Pedde Rao, Penmetsa Jagga Raju, Rudraraju Mohan, Chamarti Lakshmana Rao, Maturi Bhaskar Gupta, Rambabu, Dandu Suryanarayana Raju, Kanna Sivannarayana and others were present.
