Wildfire continues in Seshachalam forest area

Tirumala: The destructive wildfire is still racing across the Seshachalam forest range in Tirumala. The massive fire, which broke at Chamala forest under Bakarapeta range has spread out in all directions.

In the last 24 hours, a vast forest area has been consumed by the fire. On Saturday the wildfire has spread to the Gadikona forest area under Dharmagiri.

The fire is continuously spreading towards the Tirumala temple road. The TTD officials said that the burning forest area comes under the government's limit.

The wildfires are witnessed during every summer in Seshachalam forest. At the beginning of the season, the temperatures in the Rayalaseema region has already crossed 41 degrees Celsius.
