The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu Desam Party national president N Chandrababu Naidu warned the people to revolt against the government over three capitals lest the future of the people of the state will be in dire straits. He said he had called on all the people of the state to fight unitedly to protect the public capital Amaravati for the benefit of future generations. He said that after the bifurcation of the state, there was an opportunity to build a world-class city as the capital.

Chandrababu clarified that apart from being the capital, we want to build the city as a wealth creation and employment hub for the youth, which is essential for the development of 13 districts. He said that the past government has decided to build the public capital Amaravati for the development of five crore people while the farmers of the capital area have sacrificed 33,000 acres of land for the future of all the people of the state.

He recalled that the people of the state have expressed their aspirations and approval by sending holy soil and water from every village in the state for the laying of the foundation stone to build Amaravati. "The city of Amaravati is in a state of disrepair today with the idea of three capital decision took by the current YSRCP government," Naidu said. Hence he emphasised on the need of fight against the government to safeguard the interests of the future generations.
