Amaravati: The YSR Congress Party president and AP new Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has responded over the 2019 elections results in Amaravati on Thursday.

Addressing a huge gathering at the party central office he thanked God and the people of the state for giving such a historical victory.

He said the mandate what the people of AP has given is a resounding victory comprising of 150 and odd MLAs out of 175 and 25 out of 25 Parliament seats.

Probably, this kind of victory was never seen in the state. With this kind of victory, my people of Andhra have got a lot of expectations and I promise my people that I would do everything in their best interest.

YS Jagan also said that this mandate has come with a tremendous amount of responsibility and I would make sure that I live up to that expectations.

The people have seen my father YSR performance, in 2004 the people have elected him and in 2009 he was once again re-elected. With that kind of responsibility, I'll take charge and I will assure my people that I will stand by them, and will put up every effort that has to put in so that history repeats once again.

YS Jagan said that he strongly believes that out of 5 crore population, God just gave one person the opportunity to become the Chief Minister.

The God and the people of my state today have given me that opportunity. Now I assure and promise my people that I bring up that governance that this country will stand up and look up.

To the question what will be the first sign he'll be making on, YS Jagan said that he strongly believes in Navaratnalu scheme. During 3600km Praja Sankalpa Yatra, I have heard the problems of the people. Today I am assuring those people that I have seen, I have heard, and I am there for you.

He said his government will implement the Navaratnalu in the state. YS Jagan also confirmed that he will take oath as Chief Minister in Vijayawada on 30 May.
