According to the sources, Kavya, a native of Tarka Rama Nagar in Dhone got married to Arvind who belongs to Guntakal in Anantapur district on December 7th last year.
Since the time of their wedding, Arvind harassed demanding extra dowry and also physically tortured her. With this, she approached Dhone police station and lodged a complaint against her husband a week ago.
On receiving the information, the police called Arvind to PS for investigation. When he reached near the PS, Kavya and her relatives attacked him by hitting with sandal and chappal. Immediately, the police became alert and controlled the situation.
