Woman kills husband over illegal affair with boyfriend in East Godavari district

The police arrested a woman for murdering her husband over an illegal affair with boyfriend in East Godavari district. This crime happened at G Mamidada village in Pedapudi mandal.

According to the police, Suryanarayana (30), a resident of G Mamidada was found died under the suspicious condition on February 14.

Suryanarayana's wife Durga Bhavani told that her husband's death was natural. However, on noticing the injuries on the body, the deceased's brother Venkataramana approached the police and lodged a complaint.

On receiving the information, Pedapudi police registered a case under suspicious death and shifted the body to the government for the post-mortem. The autopsy report revealed that Suryanarayana was strangled to death.

Based on the report, the police initiated the investigation from the murder angle. In this context, Durga Bhavani surrendered herself in the presents of G Mamidada VRO on Tuesday.

During the investigation, it was found that Durga Bhavani developed an illegal affair with Harikrishna and over knowing their affair Suryanarayana started to harass her. Durga admitted the crime that she strangled her husband to death after mixing sleeping pills in the food on February 14 afternoon.

She has done the crime with the advice given by her boyfriend. On the incident, the police took the accused into their custody and searching for Harikrishna.
