The YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy have expressed disappointment over Union Budget 2020.
New Delhi: The YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy have expressed disappointment over Union Budget 2020.
He said that this budget is no use for Andhra Pradesh which is based on agriculture. After Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's budget speech, MP spoke with media along with other YSRCP MPs at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi on Saturday.
MP Vijaysai Reddy said that it is a positive outcome to enhance the Deposit Insurance coverage from Rs 1 lakh to 5 lakh per depositor. However, rising inflation is not a good sign.
He demanded that AP should be given its rightful share in the agriculture allocations. MP further told that the central government said that they would double the income of the farmers, but there is no clarity in the policy.

The YSRCP MP demanded to allocate the funds for the Polavaram project and backward districts in the state. He criticized that the centre has disappointed AP in allocations of funds.
He expressed his anguish that no single railway project has been given to the state. In the budget speech, there is no mention of AP special status and other key issues, MP said.
