Yet another shock to JC Diwakar Reddy: RTA officials seize five more buses of Diwakar Travels

Five buses belonging to former Anantapur MP and TDP senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy's "Diwakar Travels" have been seized for violation of rules and regulations of transport. These buses have been seized after serving notices. Anantapur district transport commissioner Shivaram Prasad, as well as transport department officials, carried out raids on buses belonging to JC Diwakar Reddy. In the absence of an interstate carrier permit, they identified and seized five buses.

Recently inspections were carried out by the department of transportation and seized 36 buses belonging to Diwakar Travels. Already several cases have been filed against "Diwakar Travels" for violating the rules. In the past, the license of some of these travel buses has been cancelled. The recent siege of five buses has become a hot topic in political circles.

In the past, JC had fired on officials for seizing his travel buses. Diwakar Reddy questioned the transport authorities how they could seize the buses for minor shortfalls, which persists for every travels company. "Minor shortfalls are natural to any travel including RTC." he asserted.
