Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has took a jibe at opposition leader Chandrababu during the launch of releasing of third tranche of YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan scheme, investment assistance to farmers and cyclone compensation payment program. The CM recalled that he had already said several times that he would pay compensation to the Nivar effected crops. He criticized Chandrababu for acting irresponsibly as the Leader of the opposition and fumed that Chandrababu had sent his son and adopted son on the road a day earlier. Jagan was outraged that he was criticizing the government with perversion.

He said the previous government had deceived farmers by false promise of loan waiver for Rs 87,612 crore to farmers. The CM said that only Rs 12 crore was given. He criticised Chandrababu for evading grain, seed, insurance, electricity arrears and zero interest loans. On the occasion, CM Jagan said that the arrears incurred by the previous government were also paid. YS Jagan said that he had helped 434 families who had committed suicide during the past government's tenure. The CM also said that Rs. 904 crore of zero interest arrears had been settled by the previous government. The CM also said that Rs 960 crore of grain procurement arrears incurred by the previous government had been paid.

Meanwhile, the government on Tuesday deposited the third tranche of the YSR Raitubharosa-PM Kisan scheme, which will be provided under investment subsidy (input subsidy) to farmers whose crops were damaged by the October cyclone. He has paid Rs 1,120 crore under Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan third tranche and Rs 646 crore under investment subsidy to farmers affected by the cyclone Nivar.
