Gold rates today in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai - 16 May 2020

Gold rates today on 16 May 2020: Gold and silver rates edge higher in the domestic markets due to the positive trends globally. The gold futures have been in the rise as the spot prices edged higher amid the stimulus package announced the countries. The silver rates have increased hugely on Saturday by Rs. 2100 to Rs. 45,250. The gold rate in national capital hiked up by Rs. 400 to Rs. 45,600 per ten gram of 22 carat and the ten gram of 24 carat gold has increased by Rs. 600 to Rs. 47,800 respectively.

The gold in Chennai has got a good demand where the gold rate in the city has gone up by Rs.120 to Rs. 44,840 per ten gram of 22 carat gold and Rs. 120 hiked per ten gram of 24 carat to Rs. 47,870.

In Kolkata, the gold rates have surged by Rs.400 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. 420 surged for 24 carat respectively. With this, the rates have been at Rs. 45,600 and Rs. 47,500 respectively.

While in the commercial capital Mumbai, the rates have hiked by huge margin by Rs. 400 to 45,600 per ten gram of 22 carat and Rs. Rs. 400 increased per ten gram of 24 carat gold to Rs. 46,600
