Petrol and diesel prices surges in Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, 20 June 2020

Petrol and Diesel prices today, 20 June 2020: Petrol and Diesel prices have continued to hike for the last fifteen days. On Saturday, the prices have further gone high. The prices have been started increasing after State-owned oil marketing companies started revising the petrol and diesel prices on daily basis. On the other hand, the VAT and cess on Petrol and Diesel are increased by the central government in the last month, which also has impacted the fuel prices.

Going by prices, petrol was increased by 52 paise per litre and diesel by 60 paise per litre in Hyderabad taking the prices to Rs. 81.88 and Rs. 75.91. Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 51 paise to Rs 78.88 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 61 paise at Rs.77.67.

In Chennai, the petrol price per litre costs Rs. 82.27 per litre with 45 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 75.29 per litre with hike of 52 paise.

The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 49 paise to 85.70. and the diesel prices remained at Rs.76.11 with a rise of 58 paise.
