Petrol and diesel prices today in Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai on 11 August 2022

India is mainly dependent on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel. Hence crude prices affect petrol and diesel rates. However, other factors such as rising demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation and refinery concept ratio will also have an impact on domestic fuel prices.

Brent crude oil fell 0.19 percent and is continuing at 97.22 dollars per barrel. Further WTI crude oil rate decreased by 0.14 percent and is trading at 91.83 dollars per barrel. Declining crude oil prices can be said to be a positive factor for crude importing countries like India.
