Petrol, diesel prices remain steady in Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai - 22 May 2020

Petrol and diesel prices on 22 May 2020: Petrol and diesel prices, have remained stable for the last two months on Friday. The state-run fuel retailers left the petrol and diesel prices stable as the crude oil prices have soared in the international market. However, as per the latest trends in fuel prices, the brent crude oil rose 0.56 per cent to $ 36.00 a barrel. WTI crude oil prices rose 0.42 percent to $ 33.64 a barrel.

Going the petrol and diesel prices, the price of a litre of petrol in Hyderabad on Thursday was at Rs. 73.97 and diesel is recorded at Rs. 67.82 per litre respectively.

Petrol and diesel prices have remained the same in the national capital Delhi where the petrol prices continue to be at Rs 71.26. While diesel prices have also stabilized at Rs.69.39. The situation is similar in Mumbai, the commercial capital wherein the petrol prices are stable at Rs.76.31 and diesel prices have also continued to be steady at Rs 66.21.

In Chennai, the petrol price per litre is recorded at Rs. 75.54 per litre with a fall of seven paise whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 68.28 per litre with seven paise decrease.

The petrol and diesel prices mentioned above are due at 8 in the morning and petroleum companies revise the petrol and diesel prices on the basis of crude oil prices in the international market. Against this backdrop, prices are subjected to change regularly.
