All SBI banks will remain closed for 11 days in October due to festivals and national events. October holiday list includes four Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays, and different states may have special public holidays as well.
It begins from October 2, Gandhi Jayanti to festivals like Mahanavami which will be celebrated on 7th October, Dussehra falls on 8th October. The festival of lights Diwali will be celebrated on 27th October and Govardhan Puja is falling on Monday, October 28th followed by Bhai Dooj to be celebrated on 29th of October in the month-end. Customers are advised to plan their bank-related work as per the dates mentioned on SBI's holiday list.

SBI banks will be closed for three consecutive days from October 6th to October 8th. Due to which ATM refilling would also remain suspended, so keep enough cash in hand to avoid facing a crisis during the festive season. Though the holiday dates may vary from one bank to another and there may also be additional state-wise bank holidays.
When it comes to state holidays, customers are advised to visit their respective bank branch and find out the exact dates. Please note that banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
