Alliance candidates in lead in Anakapalli

Anakapalli: Alliance Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates are in the lead in Anakapalli district.

By the time the first round of the counting exercise got completed, Anakapalli Lok Sabha candidate CM Ramesh has been in the lead.

Anakapalli MLA Konathala Ramakrishna is in the lead by 1,800 votes, Madugula candidate Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy by 2,300 votes, Narsipatnam candidate Ch.Ayyanna Patrudu by 1,642 votes, Payakaraopeta candidate V.Anita by 916 votes, Elamanchili candidate Sundarapu Vijaya Kumar by 1,800 votes and Chodavaram candidate KSN Raju by 1,600 votes.
