Andhra Pradesh Weather: The Amravati Meteorological Department said on Saturday that low pressure had formed in the Indian Ocean and its adjoining south-central Bay of Bengal due to surface periodicity. It said it was heading towards the southwestern Bay of Bengal and was likely to turn into severe low pressure in another 24 hours. It will strengthen further in the next 24 hours, said Stella, director, Amravati Meteorological Center. It is reported that it will then move west-northwest towards the Sri Lanka-South Tamil Nadu coast and reach the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast on November 25. Read Full Story
