International Women's Day 2022: Women’s safety alone doesn’t mean empowerment. Financial prosperity is key. Gender equality is necessary, but we absolutely need economic systems that aid women. I believe that we must invest in our talent today to provide them with the right resources, tools and community. Building confidence, capabilities and careers for long term futures is one step towards an equitable tomorrow. We should aim as a society to have more women in senior leadership positions - to encourage more young girls to ask "why" - to empower gendered norms to be a thing of the past. I genuinely believe that the more females we can support to go higher - try harder - will help inclusion, equity and even the economy.
