The sarpanch of Ramchandrapuram village in Srikakulam district was injured in a sudden gunfire occurred at his office premises. The incident took place at midnight on Tuesday in Gara Mandal when unidentified persons allegedly tried to murder Ramachandrapuram Sarpanch Venkataramana Murthy.
