11 Years Of 3 Idiots: Madhavan Doles Out That He Knew That Raj Kumar Hirani's Directorial Will Become An Iconic Movie

3 Idiots… This classic tale of college students was one of the biggest blockbusters in Bollywood. As this iconic movie clocked 11 years today, Madhavan who is one of the 3 idiots spoke to media and revealed that, he knew that this movie will turn into an iconic one after reading the script. Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi were other two idiots in this movie which had Boman Irani in college principal role.

Speaking to media Madhavan doled out, "I knew it even before we released it, I knew it when I read the script and told Raju (Rajkumar Hirani, director) it is going to be difficult for him to beat this film later on. I always knew it is going to be iconic, related to every aspect of that story. Yes, it does seem like 11 years have flown by, and yet it's still fresh in our minds."

"Every youngster has had a conversation like that with their parent some time. It has become synonymous with the struggle of the younger generation, to prove their individuality."

Finally, he concludes, "It is because of the impact it had on the youth world over. For me, it's a visiting card to any industry I go to, they all look at me with reverence and respect. It's all over the world, whether they understand Hindi or not. I don't think any other film has touched that level of importance in my life."

3 Idiots movie was directed by Raj Kumar Hirani and has Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in the lead roles. Kareena Kapoor Khan was the lead actress in this college drama. This flick was bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under Vinod Chopra Films banner.
