As promised the makers dropped the trailer of the movie and showcased a glimpse of his hilarious family tale…

Even Akshay and Bhumi shared the trailer of the 'Raksha Bandhan' movie on their Instagram pages and treated all their fans… Take a look!

The trailer starts with a quote, "Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero". Then Bhumi is seen shouting at Akshay asking him when he will marry her. But he replies that first, he needs to settle down his 4 sisters. Akshay Kumar who owns a small shop of pani puri finds is in search of grooms for his sisters. And even Bhumi's father gives him an ultimatum of 6 months and makes it more terrible. So, we need to see how Akshay manages to arrange money for his sister's wedding and then marry Bhumi. It is definitely going to be an emotional at the same time a hilarious tale which makes us return to the feelings.

Coming to the plot of the movie, it showcases the love, bonding and attachment of a brother and sisters. Akshay Kumar will essay the role of brother and Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth will be seen as his sisters.

Raksha Bandhan movie is directed by Anand L Rai and is produced by the filmmaker and Alka under the Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films banners. This movie has Bhumi Pednekar as the lead actress and it will be her union with Akshay after Toilet: Ek Prem Katha movie.
