Today, the makers of this horror-thriller once again surprised the fans by dropping the spine-chilling trailer of this movie. Bhumi shared the trailer on her Instagram and made the audience keep guessing why did she turn into a 'Goddess' from a prisoner…
The trailer starts off with a glimpse of horrific Durgamati Mahal… Then the plot shifts to Arshad Warsi who essays the role of the politician named Ishwar Prasad. He calmly wins the hearts of the people believing the concept 'People in Power'. But all of a sudden he will be cornered and his PA IAS Chanchal (Bhumi Penekar) will be targeted. She will be shifted to the Durgamati Mahal from the prison. The story begins there and Chanchal will slowly turn into Goddess Durgamati after facing a few horrifying experiences.
Well, the whole plot is about the politician Eshwar Prasad and the mystery behind the missing of God idols which will be stolen from the temples. Mahie Gill will be seen as a CBI officer. Well, the spooky trailer made our goosebumps get raised…

The teaser of this movie was released yesterday… In this teaser, we can witness Bhumi Pednekar taking the avatar of Goddess and looked terrific draping a red saree and sitting on a throne surrounded by serpents. Her partially rubbed red bindi, giant nose pin and messy tresses made her look horrifying.
Durgamati movie is the remake of Tollywood blockbuster 'Bhaagamathie' which had Anushka Shetty and Unni Mukundan as the lead actors. Even this Hindi remake is handled by the original director G. Ashok and this movie is bankrolled by Vikram Malhotra, Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Krishan Kumar under Abundantia Entertainment, T-Series and Cape of Good Films banners.
