Rajinikanth And Nayanthara Shooting For Darbar In Mumbai

Superstar Rajinikanth and stunning Nayanthara are paired in forthcoming drama Darbar and the duo was snapped shooting in Mumbai.

Rajinikanth and Nayanthara are working on next film 'Darbar' in which the superstar will be seen donning the cop avatar after a gap of 25 years. The team is currently shooting in Mumbai and pictures from the sets of the film are making their way on to the internet.

In the latest leaked stills, Rajinikanth enjoying a cricket session in a lush green ground. Rajinikanth is all dressed up in a retro look and lead actress Nayanthara is seen standing alongside her dressed in a red and white sari.

Nayanthara is seen having a conversation with Rajinikanth as he plays the game. Actor Yogi Babu can also be seen beside him.

The film is directed by AR Murugadoss and marks the first collaboration between the actor and the director. Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar plays the role of a villain in the film.

Darbar is Rajinikanth's 167th film and is slated to release around Pongal next year.

The makers of the film had earlier released the first look poster of the film which features Rajinikanth against the backdrop of guns, uniform, other police related things.
