Bollywood movies 'Ek Ruka Hua Faisla' 'Chitchor', 'Rajnigandha' and 'Priyatama' are the classics which will be remembered forever. The filmmaker of these movies Basu Chatterjee passed away today at the age of 93.
According to the sources, Basu was suffering from age-related ailments. The news of his Bollywood legend's death is confirmed by Indian Film & TV Directors' Association president AshokePandit… He took to his Twitter and confirmed the news through his official page.
I am extremely grieved to inform you all of the demise of Legendary Filmmaker #BasuChatterjee ji. His last rites will be performed today at Santacruz West (Opp Police station )crematorium at 3 pm.

In this tweet, AshokePandit has posted the news of basuji's death and also shared his grief leaving a note. He wrote that "I am extremely grieved to inform you all the demise of Legendary Filmmaker Basu Chatterjee ji. His last rites will be performed today at Santacruzcremation at 2 PM. It's a great loss to the industry. Will miss you, Sir. #RIPBasuChaterjee."
Ashoke also informed that Basuji's last rites will be conducted tomorrow afternoon @ 2 PM. Babuji is all known for his Bollywood classics and has served the Indian Film Industry with his amazing movies.

Basuji worked for Chameli Ki Shaadi (1986) and it was his last commercially successful movie. He is also remembered for directing a few Bengali classics such as 'HothatBrishti', 'Hochcheta Ki' and 'Hothat Shei Din'.
