Delhi Crime Netflix Series Emmy Win Well Deserved: Mahesh Babu

Netflix web series "Delhi Crime" has won an international Emmy award for the best drama series in 2020.

"Delhi Crime" which was directed by Richie Mehta has Shefali Shaw, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain, Rajesh Thailong, Vinod Sheravath, Denzil Smith, Gopal Dutt, Yashaswini Dayamaa, and Jaya Bhatacharya in the star cast.

This is an imaginary crime drama based on Nirbhaya rape and murder incidence which rocked the nation in 2012. The director of this web series and main actors expressed their happiness on the movie winning an award. Director Richie paid his respects to the late Nirbhaya victim and her mother while receiving this award.

"Delhi Crime" is the first ever project to receive an Emmy award from India. This series was released in 2019 via Netflix. Besides, Amazon Prime Video's original series "Four more Shots Please' was nominated in the comedy series section and in the best acting award category, Arjun Mathur name was nominated for "Made in heaven" . But none of them could win the award.

Several celebrities congratulated the Delhi crime team on their success. Top on the list of movie stars was mana own Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu.
