With the number of virus cases almost doubling in most states in a span of a month, the government has issued clear guidelines to the public to stay at home as much as possible to avoid contracting an infection.
Meanwhile, OTT platforms are making the most of the situation by grabbing the digital rights of best of the movies which would have otherwise released on theatres first. With most filmmakers giving theatrical release a miss and preferring direct OTT release for their movies, OTT platforms are more than willing to accomodate.
