Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh Chooses Rajini, Walks Out Of Maniratnam Movie

Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh is on cloud nine after ending the year 2018 on a high. Her performance in the role of yesteryear actress Savitri came in for a lot of praise and the actress has been flooded with offers from top directors since. So maverick director Maniratnam offered her a role in his most ambitious upcoming project Ponniyin Selvan. The Tamil flick has an ensemble cast with the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Karti, Trisha among others. Kalki Krishnamurthy has written the script for his historical drama. We all know that Mani is one of the directors who's on every actor's wishlist. However, unfortunately, Keerthy is said to have walked out of the Mani movie over a date clash with Rajinikanth's movie Thalaivar 168. She didn't want to miss out on a chance to work with the Tamil superstar and thus chose him over the top director. The Rajini movie is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The film is directed by Siva.

Meanwhile, Maniratnam movie will be produced under the Lyca Productions along with Madras Talkies banner while AR Rahman will score the music. Ponniyin Selvan will have Ravi Varman's camera work. With such a brilliant combination we are sure the film will be nothing less than a genius. We can't wait for watch the film soon.

As for Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh, we can only hope that she gets another chance to work with Maniratnam.
