Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan Starts Rolling In Hyderabad's RFC

The shooting of Kollywood director Maniratnam's much talked about movie "Ponniyin Selvan" will resume on January 6, in Hyderabad.

The Tmail flick has created a lot of curiosity among cine buffs. Prior to the commencement of the shooting schedule, all the crew members of the Production team including artists are undergoing coronavirus tests. The artistes are now reportedly housed at a luxury hotel in the City of pearls. Actor Karthi and Jayam Ravi will be participating in this schedule. Another star Vikram who is in a pivotal role in the movie will be working in the next schedule, it is being said.

Currently, Kollywood actor Chiyaan Vikram is working in the movie 'Cobra'. Tamil director Maniratnam is planning to bring out this movie in two parts. Mozart of Madras AR Rahman will be scoring the music for this movie which will be produced under the banner Lyca Productions by Sinaslaran Allirajah and Mani Ratnam.

By the way, 'Ponniyum Selvan' will have a huge Star cast. Many prominent stars from the Indian film industry will be seen in this movie. Kollywood actor Trisha will be in a pivotal role. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kishore, Saara Arjun, Nayanthara and others will be in the star cast.

As per the latest update, not one but six Ponniyin Selvan sets are already up in the famed Ramoji Film city of Hyderabad.
