Even though the movie failed to break records like his previous Diwali releases Mersal and Sarkar, the sports drama did pretty well at the ticket window and raked in quite a lot of money for the filmmakers. Recently, a few pictures from the sets of the movie were leaked and went viral. Besides Vijay was also papped at the airport and his look from the movie was there for all to see. This has not gone down well with the producers who have bankrolled Thalapathy 64. They are said to have raised a DMCA notice to all the social media handles tweeting Vijay's leaked pictures from Thalapathy 64 sets. Vijay is believed to be upset with the developments as he's pinning a lot of hopes on this movie.
